Club Trustee WB5UDA – Jay Stanfield
We are a Special Event Amateur Radio Club

Club KC5NX’s main purpose is to operate as a Special Event Station
Club KC5NX is set up much different than most. We have no meetings, we have no dues. We have no nets or testing sessions. We are a gathering of Friends and Event Operators. We keep in touch thru HF, VHF, UHF, telephone and E-Mail. We have a operators in several different states. We are an ARRL Affiliated Club with all the rights and privileges thereof. We have a Log Book and Bio Page on QRZ, an LOTW account and we have our own club QSL card.
We do what we enjoy doing……. In the last seven years we have renewed our efforts and worked 29 Special Events with a wonderful amount of success. We have picked events that our contacts are attracted to. We plan on continuing in that direction. We have made over 23,788 contacts during these events and have mailed out over 2,738 QSL cards….
During an event we have operators that make 5 or 10 contacts, we have operators that make 100s of contacts. That does not matter to us. We don’t do contest. We do Events. We don’t require experience. We offer the chance to gain experience. We offer the chance to really enjoy Ham Radio. We operate from 160 meters to UHF. We operate SSB, CW, FM, Echo-Link, RTTY, FT-8, D-Star and Fusion. We operate the band and mode of our choice.
Wanta be part of our group ? drop us an E-Mail…… !
